Requirements
Do you have experience in Cloud infrastructure?, Do you have a Doctoral degree?, We are seeking a candidate with a technical background combined with a sound understanding of business and professional practice, and demonstrable ability to bridge technical concepts and business applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in applying digital technologies and AI within organisational contexts, understanding how technology enables business transformation, improves processes, and creates value in professional settings. Experience of designing and delivering online, blended, or technology-enhanced learning is desirable, as is experience of developing and delivering professional training, CPD, executive education, or micro-credential programmes. You should have a PhD (or equivalent professional experience) and demonstrate experience and expertise in areas such as:
- Enterprise systems, digital platforms, and cloud infrastructure
- Applied AI, intelligent automation, and AI governance in organisational contexts
- Information security, cyber resilience, and data governance
- Business process modelling, workflow automation, and low-code/no-code platforms
- Digital product management and agile delivery methodologies
The role will involve contributing to our existing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as supporting the development and delivery of short courses and CPD programmes. We are particularly interested in candidates with industry experience or strong professional networks, and those with knowledge of digital transformation in sectors such as aerospace, defence, financial services, or professional services.

The School of Computing and Creative Technologies at UWE Bristol has around 150 academic staff and over 2,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students. We currently deliver programmes in Information Technology, Business Computing, and Software Engineering at undergraduate level, and an MSc in Information Technology.
