Job description

As an IT Technician, you'll have a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global IT infrastructure. Based in our Head Office in Manchester, you will work as part of our dedicated IT Team to support both local and international operations., * Backup Management - Monitor daily backups and report any issues to the IT manager.

  • User Account Management - Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 accounts, setting up new users and ensuring machines are equipped with the necessary software, printers, and peripherals.
  • Technical Support - Provide end-user technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Server Management - Assist in maintaining the Microsoft Servers and QNAP Servers, collaborating with the IT team when required to ensure optimized performance.
  • Printer Management - Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of the printers within the office.
  • Telecommunication Maintenance - Manage phone systems, including desk phone and mobile device setup.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, This fast-paced role requires a proactive individual with a strong sense of initiative and a passion for continuous learning. The successful candidate will occasionally need to travel, which may include overnight stays. A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle would be advantageous.

Candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in IT Support and/or a relevant IT Qualification., * Experience in managing Microsoft Windows Server Environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration.
  • Microsoft Exchange 365
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain printers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Networking technologies.
  • Server/Computer hardware maintenance.
  • Experience with configuring Apple Macs/Windows software.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Experience with Virtual Machines (VMWare).
  • Full UK Driving License
