Job description

  • Build and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with external partners to fill capability gaps where needed.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across systems.

Requirements

We're looking for a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in data engineering principles and a keen interest in cloud technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career, recent graduates or those with a couple of years' experience, who wants to grow in a collaborative, business-focused environment., * Programming: Proficient in Python and/or Spark for data processing.

  • Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • SQL: Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
  • Data Modelling: Understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices.
  • Ability to grasp fundamentals and fine-tune solutions for efficiency.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Databricks or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools.
  • Interest in business processes and ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms.

Benefits & conditions

Salary: £40,000-£50,000
