Job description
I am seeking a mid-career Systems Engineer to join my client, a leading hedge fund Enterprise Technology team. This role is ideal for a systems administrator with a strong background in Linux and Python, and hands-on experience managing and automating IAM and SaaS platforms. You will be responsible for developing integration's, automating employee life cycle processes, and supporting productivity tooling across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Administer and automate IAM and productivity platforms such as Slack and Google Work space
- Develop and maintain integration's between internal systems and SaaS tools (e.g., LDAP, SSO, SCIM)
- Build tools and automation's to support IT and cross-functional teams
- Document systems architecture, processes, and best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or systems administration
- Proficiency in Python and Linux systems administration
- Experience with SaaS platforms and APIs (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack)
- Familiarity with authentication and provisioning protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or SaltStack
