Job description

Travel & Vehicle Benefits: During the 6 month probationary period, business mileage will be reimbursed in line with HMRC Approved Mileage Allowance Payments (up to 45p per mile). Following successful completion of probation, you will be provided with either a company van or a car allowance, depending on role requirements.

The Role

As a Microsoft 365 Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high quality Microsoft based solutions that are not only technically robust, but simple, clear, and effortless for customers to adopt and operate.

Using our established implementation frameworks, you will design and deliver Microsoft 365 solutions that minimise complexity, reduce disruption, and provide a consistently smooth customer experience from initial engagement through to handover and ongoing service.

This is a hands-on, delivery focused role where technical excellence, structured delivery, and customer experience are equally important.

What You'll Work On

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Design and deliver Microsoft 365 solutions aligned to defined technical baselines and best practices.
  • Lead the deployment of Microsoft cloud solutions with a focus on simplicity, reliability, and ease of use.
  • Deliver multiple Microsoft 365 project baselines (typically 10-25 days).
  • Ensure all implementations are fully documented, repeatable, and meet quality standards.
  • Make sound technical decisions that balance capability with usability and long-term supportability.

Client Engagement & Effortless Enablement

  • Work closely with customers to understand business objectives and translate them into clear, practical Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Proactively remove friction during delivery by setting clear expectations and communicating progress effectively.
  • Provide training, guidance, and reassurance that enables users and IT teams to adopt solutions with confidence.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is easy to understand for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver a calm, professional, and dependable experience throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Transition & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure a smooth and well-managed transition from project delivery into Service Delivery.
  • Lead comprehensive handovers that reduce follow-on issues and support requests.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate outcomes and identify improvements.
  • Maintain Quality Score and Customer Feedback Score consistently above 90%.

Strategic Contribution & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide feedback from real world delivery to improve frameworks, tooling, and customer journeys.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify delivery processes and enhance customer experience.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Microsoft 365 solution offerings in line with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Mentor junior team members and support consistent, high-quality delivery across the Professional Services team.

Main Tasks

  • Deliver multiple concurrent Microsoft 365 projects to time, quality, and customer experience standards.
  • Collaborate with IT Project Managers to plan resources and manage delivery effectively.
  • Provide regular, clear updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Push back constructively on unachievable deliverables, offering realistic and well explained alternatives.
  • Suggest innovative technical approaches that improve customer outcomes and reduce complexity.
  • Create and maintain clear, high-quality documentation that supports effortless handover and support.
  • Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including C-suite, during delivery and pre-sales activities.
  • Guide baseline decisions and ensure consistent implementation across the Professional Services team.
  • Drive internal efficiencies and process improvements that benefit both customers and delivery teams.

Measurable Outcomes

  • Projects delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to customers.
  • Positive, consistent customer feedback and high adoption rates.
  • Clear, accurate documentation enabling smooth transition into managed services.
  • Continuous professional development through structured learning and hands-on delivery.

Qualifications & Certifications

We're looking for candidates with a mix of formal qualifications or hands-on experience. Ideal certifications to include or similar:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in VPN?, * 2+ years' experience in Microsoft 365 delivery, consultancy, or technical roles, ideally in cloud or infrastructure.

  • Proven ability to deliver solutions that balance technical quality with ease of use.
  • Strong project scoping, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident communicator who builds trust with customers.
  • Commercial and business awareness.

Salary of between £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience).
