Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Delivery Manager to join our growing team., * Develop and manage Project Digital budget

The Digital Manager will educate people, develop / implement the Project Execution Plan and use technology during stages 1 - 8 to develop model (s) with data Integrated into the design, construction and facilities operation/maintenance all in accordance with the Project Execution Plan.

Utilise models to inform risk management in terms of both Commercial and Health & Safety risks.

Review the Employers Information Requirements (EIR's) and advise the Work Winning/Delivery team of contract deliverables, Digital programme, Digital resources and Supply Chain capabilities/requirements to be included within the Balfour Beatty tender

Engage early with all Stakeholders to develop the projects Digital Strategy, Digital Execution Plan and Customer goals to match the EIR's.

Work with the Project Team to deliver the Project Digital Strategy, Digital Execution Plan and Customer's goals.

Engage early with all Stakeholders via the Projects Common Data Environment

Before construction commences mobilisation, engage with the project team to implement people/processes/culture/technology which can be used during the Construction phase and limit/mitigate potential conflicts before site execution gate stage

Working with the project team to use digital tools that promote CDM Regulation and Zero Harm compliance, eg the use of PAS 1192/6

Working with the project team and Supply Chain members for the use and development of the Project Information Model Graphical and Non Graphical (3D Model)

Working with the project team to implement processes/culture/technology so that Programme can be linked to the Detailed Design Model i.e. 4D for Construction and own/support

Working with the project team to implement processes/culture/technology so that costs can be linked to the Model i.e. 5D for Construction and own/support

Working with the project team to implement processes/culture/technology so that an As Built model is created for Handover and Commissioning and own/support

Working with the project team to implement processes/culture/technology so that Asset Information/data can be linked to the model producing a 6D Model for Handover and Commissioning and own/support

Working with the project team to implement processes/culture/technology for Digital Site Management Techniques / mobile technology to deliver progressive assurance procedures

Research, Develop, Implement, Review new ways of working which will benefit the project by increasing efficiency, reducing cost, improve quality, sustainability and aiming for Zero Harm

Requirements
Do you have a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card, Construction Skills Certification Scheme certification?, Do you have experience in Supply chain?, Do you have a Master's degree?, The following qualities/experience are essential:
- Professional membership is desirable
- BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng, HND/HDC or qualified by experience with an understanding and proven delivery of infrastructure or Building managing multiple processes / schemes
- NVQ - Level 5 or 2-5 years of project / Educational experience
- Can demonstrate Technical ability with the use of Digital Software applications
- Demonstrate experience of training others
- Mentors all variations of Digital Technicians and Digital Engineers
- An understanding of the latest industry guidelines for Digital project delivery such as BS and PAS
- Technician Membership achieved. Approaching next level of Professional Membership
- Good communication skills with an ability to form effective relationships with project stakeholders
- Able to work under time pressure
- Experience of working collaboratively with the project teams, supply chain partners and Customers
- Proficiency in IT and numeracy
- Ability to form effective relationships Customer under time pressure
- Demonstrable track record of delivering a high-quality product to tight deadlines
- Primary Software Skills in Model Authoring. Relative to Project Requirements
- Can demonstrate strong technical ability with the use of Digital software applications
- Keen to learn develop and support members of the digital team
- Valid CSCS card
The following qualities/experience are desirable
- Some understanding of Design, Construction, Surveying and Asset Management
- Presentation and meeting organisation / leading coordination sessions
- Autodesk and/or Bentley application experience
- GIS application experience
- Synchro Software or similar experience or equivalent
- Model verification application
- Progressive Quality, Short interval control and model coordination applications - i.e. BIM 360 Suite / Bentley
- Qualifications or experience to meet project requirements
