Junior Design Engineer

This is an opportunity to work for a company who work in design, supply, installation, and maintenance of ventilation products. They are looking to recruit you to work as either a Junior Design Engineer.

The role:

You will join a team of 4 and will be tasked with designing a range ventilation product throughout the UK you will discuss this will be over the phone, and email with occasional site travel. (Less than once a month)

As an Junior Design Engineer you will design bespoke ventilation solutions using their in-house software to produce technical proposals. Along with liaising with the sales and technical personnel within the organisation to identify new prospects and new markets to help grow the business.

• Drive, Self- motivation and be results orientated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• An Engineering background either Mechanical Engineering degree or BTEC / HNC etc.

• Highly competent with an eye for detail

• Numerate - able to calculate prices, margins etc

• Good computer literacy including Microsoft office.

Ideal experience & knowledge of:

• Exposure to the HVAC / Building Services sector would be ideal

• Understanding of air movement / thermodynamic principles
