2nd Line IT Engineer

We're partnered with a well-established and fast-growing MSP based in Bournemouth, supporting a broad portfolio of SME clients across Dorset and the South Coast. They're now looking for a strong, reliable 2nd Line Engineer with proven MSP experience and a full UK driving license to join their technical team.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who's confident working across multiple client environments, happy to get on-site when required, and capable of owning issues end-to-end. You won't be siloed or stuck on password resets - you'll be trusted with real technical responsibility and client-facing work.

• Proven experience in a 2nd Line role within an MSP (essential)
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory & Microsoft 365
• Confident troubleshooting across DNS, DHCP, networking, VPNs & firewalls
• Experience supporting multiple client environments
• Exposure to Azure, virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware) or backup solutions
• Full UK driving license and willingness to attend client sites
• Strong communication skills and a professional client-facing approach
• Reliable, technically strong, and able to work independently when needed

• £30,000 - £36,000 Salary
