Software Engineer

My Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Test Software UK, working on mission-critical test systems that support the development, production, and field testing of missile systems. You'll collaborate with Electronic Engineering, the Test Centre of Excellence, and Software Engineering to deliver robust and timely test capability, directly influencing product certification, manufacturing, and in-service support. This role offers exposure across the company's full product portfolio, while embracing DevOps and modern engineering practices. What You'll Do

• Develop and support high-performance test software interfacing with test equipment

• Work on real-time and mission-critical systems across development and production

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams

• Solve complex problems beyond pure software, including system and hardware challenges What they are looking For

• Software or Electronics Engineer with strong transferable skills

• Experience in C, C++ or Ada
• Strong analytical and design skills
• Proactive, flexible, "can-do" mindset
