Job description
· Oversee cloud infrastructure in Azure, including governance, IaaS/PaaS, and cost optimisation.
· Ensure scalability, availability, and DR capabilities across cloud and hybrid environments.
· Manage endpoint strategy, standards, and lifecycle using M365 and Intune.
· Oversee hardware, servers, and network architecture across multiple sites.
· Partner with InfoSec to embed infrastructure security and support ISO/NIS2 compliance.
· Lead on Microsoft 365 and tenant-to-tenant migration programmes.
· Drive modernisation initiatives including automation, monitoring, and service resilience.
· Manage external vendors and service providers, ensuring performance and value.
Requirements
· 8+ years' experience in IT infrastructure, including leadership across cloud and on-prem.
· Deep Azure knowledge, including architecture, networking, identity, and cost control.
· Experience leading infrastructure and endpoint teams, ideally across multi-site operations.
· Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, and virtualisation (Hyper-V/VMware).
· Proven track record of successful Azure migrations and post-migration optimisation.
· Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to communicate technical strategy to non-technical audiences.
· Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL, or Microsoft 365 Administrator desirable.
