Job description

As a Developer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of projects that support the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and its mission to safely decommission nuclear sites across the UK. You'll work on a suite of applications that drive project performance, maintaining and enhancing existing systems while developing new solutions to meet evolving client needs.

Day-to-day you'll be required to:

  • Develop and maintain software applications using C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Enhance existing systems and design new features to improve performance and usability.
  • Work closely with a small, supportive team to tackle technical challenges.
  • Ensure code quality and system reliability through rigorous testing and documentation., This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week based in Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire), Moor Row (Cumbria) or Bristol site. Hybrid working patterns are available.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Background in maintaining and developing existing applications alongside new project work.

Qualifications for the Developer:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
