Job description
We're looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join an established technology services provider, delivering high-level technical support and contributing to infrastructure and cloud projects.
This is a senior technical role focused on complex issue resolution, project delivery, and supporting the wider support team.
You'll provide advanced 3rd Line Support across a Microsoft-centric environment, taking ownership of escalations and working on a mix of operational and project-based work.
- Delivering 3rd Line Support whilst owning and resolving complex technical incidents
- Leading server, network and cloud projects
- Supporting and mentoring 1st and 2nd line engineers
- Making effective technical decisions during critical incidents
Technical Stack
- Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft operating systems
- Hyper-V and virtualised environments
- Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Server and network installations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior 3rd Line Support role
- Strong Microsoft infrastructure and virtualisation knowledge
- Confident, proactive and service-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
The role is based in Princes Risborough with flexible and hybrid working (around two days per week in the office). There will be occasional site visits when delivering projects.
A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
