Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to work with a NHS Trust based in Norwich on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to Trust users
  • Analyse, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware, software, and system issues
  • Support and maintain Windows desktop and server environments (Windows 7/10 and Windows Server 2003-2016)
  • Manage and monitor system performance, capacity, and alerts
  • Administer backup and restoration procedures, including scheduling, monitoring, and escalation
  • Support Citrix environments and core infrastructure services
  • Assist with security administration, including patching, antivirus, and access control
  • Escalate and manage issues with internal systems and third-party suppliers
  • Ensure incidents and requests are logged, prioritised, and resolved in line with SLAs

Requirements

  • Relevant IT qualification, HND/HNC, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft server and desktop environments
