Job description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to work with a NHS Trust based in Norwich on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to Trust users
- Analyse, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware, software, and system issues
- Support and maintain Windows desktop and server environments (Windows 7/10 and Windows Server 2003-2016)
- Manage and monitor system performance, capacity, and alerts
- Administer backup and restoration procedures, including scheduling, monitoring, and escalation
- Support Citrix environments and core infrastructure services
- Assist with security administration, including patching, antivirus, and access control
- Escalate and manage issues with internal systems and third-party suppliers
- Ensure incidents and requests are logged, prioritised, and resolved in line with SLAs
Requirements
- Relevant IT qualification, HND/HNC, or equivalent experience
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft server and desktop environments
