Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated analyst to join our Data Analytics team. You will join forces with our product, trading, website, customer experience, and marketing teams.

Candidates should possess strong technical expertise, including experience with SQL, business analysis, and data visualisation platforms such as Tableau and Power BI. A background in database design, project management, and familiarity with SDLC will be advantageous.

What you'll be doing

• Provide regular and relevant commercial and customer-based reporting, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, supporting the business pulling out the key messages.

· Interact with business stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives, develop analytic requirements, provide answers to business questions, make recommendations, and join forces in driving business improvement and optimisation.

· Supporting our Data Lead in reporting and providing data to the wider business.

· Contribute to the wider Trading and Marketing team's planning and reporting outputs.

· Communicate findings effectively and translate them into visualisations, metrics and recommended actions appropriate for each area of the business.

· Perform recurring and ad hoc quantitative analysis to support day-to-day decision making.

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within a corporate environment.

• Proficiency in SQL programming (including Microsoft SQL Server) and database design principles.
• Strong skills in data analysis techniques, including statistical methods and business analysis frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Familiarity with programming languages like R and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders at all levels. This role offers an engaging environment for professionals passionate about transforming data into actionable insights through innovative tools and methodologies.
• Experience working with web analytics data (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar)
