Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards, supporting continuous improvement, and promoting a strong Food Safety and Quality Culture., * Act as the first point of contact for quality matters on the production floor.
- Conduct quality inspections and process audits during shifts.
- Review and update SOPs/SPLs and maintain quality display boards.
- Analyze production samples against approved standards.
- Support training initiatives and departmental updates.
- Assist with containment and sorting of faulty materials.
- Manage quarantined products and issue scrap/credits as needed.
- Perform finished goods checks and material testing.
- Conduct Glass & Brittle Materials audits and publish results.
- Carry out GMP audits, raise/manage non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions are closed.
- Support NCR investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
- Assist with customer complaint investigations and evidence gathering.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold housekeeping standards.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, * Previous experience in quality control (essential).
- Manufacturing experience (food, print, or packaging preferred).
- Internal/external auditing experience (essential).
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word); Avante experience desirable.
- Excellent communication skills-clear written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to identify process weaknesses and propose solutions.
- Highly responsible, reliable, and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Positive, "can-do" attitude.
