Fleet Technical Support Officer

We have a vacancy for a full time Fleet Technical Support Officer to provide support for the fleet management team. This role provides an essential link between all aspects of the operation of the Councils fleet of vehicles and plant for users of the service, therefore a professional manner is essential. You will also possess excellent IT skills and have proven experience of working in a busy vehicle/transport environment, incorporating multiple databases and spreadsheets. Duties for this post include customer invoicing, database maintenance, and liaising between service users and front-line staff and suppliers.

The drive and desire to improve the service we deliver, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Being highly organised with an attention to detail and accuracy are vital for this role.
