Job description

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and define reporting requirements. Develop and optimise Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reports to deliver clear, actionable insights. Map workflows and document processes across the business. Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across multiple data sources. Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Work closely with teams across sales, customer service, projects, and engineering to ensure systems (particularly SimPro CRM) support their processes effectively. Translate business requirements into functional processes within SimPro, liaising with vendors where required. Identify process improvement and automation opportunities, integrating solutions where appropriate. Provide training and user support to help colleagues adopt and utilise business systems effectively. Maintain system and process documentation, including process maps, user stories, gap analyses, and user guides. Assist with the day-to-day support and administration of SimPro.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to map and document processes. Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Sound business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Solid SQL skills for querying and analysis. Proven Power BI expertise, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and governance. 5+ years' experience in BI analytics, business analysis, or similar technical roles. Experience with CRM systems - SimPro experience highly desirable. Knowledge of data governance, data security, and business process improvement. Microsoft certification (PL-300 or similar) desirable but not essential. Flexibility to travel across multiple sites, including overnight stays when required.
