Job description

  • Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites
  • Build responsive websites using WordPress themes and page builders
  • Customise WordPress plugins and themes as required
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, fast, and secure
  • Carry out website updates, backups, and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical website issues
  • Work closely with designers, sales teams, and project managers
  • Apply basic SEO best practices during website builds
  • Manage multiple web projects and deadlines, WordPress Developer, Web Developer, WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi, Web Design, Website Development, Digital Agency, SEO, Responsive Design, Website Maintenance, WordPress Themes, WordPress Plugins, Remote Developer, Hybrid Working

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, This role is ideal for a developer with strong WordPress, HTML, CSS, and PHP skills who enjoys working in an agency environment and delivering high-quality websites., Essential:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or Web Developer
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic PHP
  • Familiarity with Elementor, Gutenberg, or Divi
  • Experience building responsive websites
  • Understanding of website performance optimisation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Desirable:

  • Experience in a digital agency environment
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, or Search Console
  • Experience with web hosting, site migrations, and SSL
  • Understanding of WordPress security best practices
