Solution Architect - Knutsford, UK

Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Solution Architect to architect and design secure, scalable, and cloud-enabled solutions for banking and financial services programs. The role involves translating business requirements into detailed technical designs, ensuring alignment with client's enterprise architecture principles, cloud strategy, and regulatory compliance.

• Design end-to-end solutions leveraging cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure), microservices, and API-driven integration.
• Create high-level and detailed design artifacts including architecture diagrams, data models, and integration patterns.
• Ensure adherence to client's architecture governance, security standards, and compliance frameworks (PSD2, Open Banking, ISO 20022).
• Define integration strategies for hybrid environments combining on-premise systems and cloud platforms.
• Conduct impact analysis, scalability assessments, and performance optimization for proposed designs.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Support development teams during implementation and resolve design-related queries.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for banking modernization.

Do you have experience in Visio?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

• 6+ years of experience in solution design and architecture within banking or financial services.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), API-based design, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with security frameworks, data modeling, and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (AML/KYC, PSD2, PCI DSS).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• TOGAF or similar architecture certification preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of architecture standards and governance processes.
• Experience with tools like ArchiMate, Visio, and Confluence for design documentation.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery models.'
