Job description

Requirement Analysis & Modeling

Translate business needs into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Develop and maintain metadata definitions, data dictionaries, and modeling standards.

Design & Implementation

Design and implement relational and dimensional models for OLTP, data warehousing, or data lake environments.
Optimize models for performance, scalability, and normalization best practices.

Model Governance

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with governance policies.
Review and update existing data models to align with evolving data strategies.

Collaboration & Communication

Liaise with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and QA teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
Present modeling approaches, decisions, and documentation to stakeholders.

ETL & BI Support

Partner with ETL and BI teams to define source-to-target mappings, migration strategies, and model-driven development.
Assist with performance tuning and prototyping as needed.

Continuous Improvement

Keep abreast of latest data modeling tools, techniques, and best practices; introduce improvements to modeling methodologies

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience: 6-8 years in data modeling/data architecture including OLTP, BI, or data warehousing environments
