Junior ICT Assistant

As a Junior ICT Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of IT infrastructure on international level.

You will provide both on-site and remote technical support while collaborating closely with the ICT Manager.

This is your opportunity to develop your technical expertise across several technology platforms and actively contribute to IT improvements., * Provide on-site and remote technical support for laptops, printers, phones, and other peripherals.

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Assist with the setup, deployment, and lifecycle management of new devices.
• Conduct regular IT system maintenance and updates.
• Maintain IT security documentation and ensure compliance records are kept up to date.
• Work collaboratively with the ICT Manager to resolve complex technical issues and implement IT improvements.
• Deliver training and support to end-users on IT policies, best practices, and cybersecurity.
• Adhere to company IT standards, data protection regulations, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Ensure top-tier customer service in support of employees across all offices.

Technical Environment:

• Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Exchange
• Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, Intune
• Virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
• Networking: OSI model, TCP/UDP, VLANs, switching, firewall concepts
• VOIP and phone system basics
• Antivirus and cybersecurity best practices
• Videoconferencing systems

• IT Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• A first relevant experience is a great asset.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a desire to learn.
• Resourceful ("Swiss Army knife" attitude).
• Reliable, motivated, and customer focused.
• Strong team player; able to work independently.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
• You have an active Belgian work permit.
