Adriana @ RED Global - Azure Data Engineer - REMOTE Contract | German -Speaker

One of our Customers at RED is in search of experienced Azure Data Architect to join one of their projects on a freelance basis in Germany.

Job Title: Azure Data Architect

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months - Initial contract
Contract: Freelance
Location: Remote (Candidate needs to be based in Germany)
Language: German (Written & Spoken)

Education and Knowledge Requirements

Lead the design and end-to-end implementation of Azure Databricks-based advanced analytics solutions, including data architecture, ETL pipelines (PySpark/SQL), Azure service integrations, and technical leadership across data engineering teams.

Skills Required

Strong experience with Azure Databricks including cluster management notebook development and Delta Lake
Proficiency in big data technologiesg. Hadoop Spark and data processing frameworks eg PySpark
Experience with ETL/ELT processes data warehousing and building data lakes
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
Knowledge of cloud security best practices

Mandatory Skills : Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Big Data, SQL, Azure Data lake, Azure Data Factory
