Job description
Mill Hill School is seeking to appoint a skilled Data Officer to work alongside our Director of Studies to produce high-quality data analysis to support pupil achievement. This is an exciting role for someone who has a passion and interest in data management in a school setting. You will be part of a talented, committed staff team and play a central role in the support function of one of London's leading independent schools. This job will provide excellent professional development and support ongoing career progression (e.g. to School Data Manager positions).
The successful candidate will be an advance user of Microsoft Excel and Office, with excellent IT skills. They will be organised and able to work to deadlines, prioritising tasks under time pressure. They will be a team player with good communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems as they occur.
Experience of working with school databases (e.g. timetabling software or Management Information Systems such as iSAMS) is preferable but not essential. About Mill Hill School
Mill Hill is the flagship school within the Mill Hill Education Group, the UK's fastest growing non-profit family of independent schools. We are a traditional senior school serving pupils from Years 9 to 13, although we work closely with our prep school Belmont (years 3-8), particularly at KS3. We are a co-educational day and boarding school, with approximately 800 day pupils and 100 boarders.
Mill Hill is the school of choice for many families in London and around the UK. We are academically aspirational, with over half of all grades at A Level at A*-A and two-thirds 9-7 at GCSE. We also have a rich and varied co-curricular programme - recognised as sector-leading by ISI - and outstanding pastoral care through our House system.
We are blessed at Mill Hill with amazing grounds, dedicated staff and brilliant pupils. Our setting on the edge of London gives us a beautiful environment in which to learn, whilst keeping us connected to the city. There are few better schools to build your career at than Mill Hill, where you will have the professional freedom and support you need to grow and flourish as a teacher.
