· Provide onsite field support to clients with regards to all IT related issues
· Communicate directly with clients on site to facilitate work
· Escalate issues to the Field Services Manager
· Work unsupervised on client sites complying with local regulations and conditions
· Report on issue status and resolutions to the CRM system
· Work within Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines
· Complete and report on work tickets in a timely fashion
· Operate professionally at all times to company standards, representing Accelerator to our clients
Requirements
Do you have experience in IT service management?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our growing Field Service Engineer Team. You will need to be able to deal with a large user base and be able to multitask whilst working under pressure. The ideal candidate should be motivated, resourceful and driven for success with a keen interest in furthering their personal and professional development. You will be involved in projects, IT installations of hardware and cabling infrastructure, as well as providing on site client support. A good knowledge of networking, cloud computing and a high standard of literacy are key, as you will be carrying out site audits, as well as installations and recommendations to clients.
The role will involve travel to client sites which are all based in the UK, on a regular basis, and there will be some overnight stays required subject to location and project. There is use of a company pool van for travel. Ongoing training and development is provided., You should thrive on challenges and have a focussed and determined attitude, appreciating how the role applies to the wider business. You will have experience in working with network infrastructures, VOIP, Microsoft Windows and Office as well as Router Management, VMware, DrayTek and Ubiquiti products. Cisco knowledge and experience would be advantageous. You should be able to fulfil the following requirements, * A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Network engineering: 1 year (preferred)
- IT service management: 1 year (required)
