Requirements

The post holder is required to have an in-depth specialist knowledge of the following ICT Systems, operating in a 24/7 environment, combined with practical experience with a number of the following: -

Windows 10 & 11 OS Desktop Support

Windows 2016, 2019 and 2022 Server Roles & Features

SQL Server Console Management

SCCM Application Deployments / Collection Management

Windows Remote Desktop Services

Microsoft 365 Application Suite Support

Azure AAD / Intune / Exchange

VMware and Azure experience

PowerShell Scripting experience

Active Directory & Group Policy Management

Hardware and Software support

Installation and configuration of commercial and bespoke software applications

Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies and solutions

Helpdesk Ticketing systems

The post will be based at our office in South Queensferry, Edinburgh. The role involves participating in a 24/7 on call rota. The role will involve some travel throughout Scotland and possible overnight stays.
