Job description
You'll be part of the People Team supporting leadership development across Currys. We design and deliver programmes that help our leaders grow and succeed, aligned with our Leadership Framework and Functional Expectations. Whether they're in stores, supply chain, or head office, great leaders unlock our transformation. We're passionate about making leadership development practical, engaging, and impactful.
You'll work with the wider Talent and Learning teams and People Partners to shape how we develop leaders. You'll engage with senior leaders and ExCo across all of Currys business areas, bringing your expertise to help shape our leadership approach. Working with People Operations, you'll create seamless processes for programme participants and their line managers You'll also manage relationships with external vendors, working with Procurement to make sure we're getting the best outcomes for Currys.
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Identify development needs for leaders and managers across Currys, and where support will make the biggest difference.
- Create innovative learning solutions that accelerate manager capability, blending face-to-face and digital approaches.
- Support the rollout of a new high quality leadership curriculum.
- Oversee the smooth execution of our newly established Academy programmes.
- Measure the impact of our leadership programmes.
Requirements
- Experience designing and running programmes that build real leadership capability, for now and the future.
- A talent for overseeing learning interventions from start to finish.
- Confidence translating data into insights that shape better development solutions.
- Knowledge of different learning methodologies and when each one works best.
- Digital confidence with systems and technology that support modern learning.
- Excellent communication skills that make complex ideas simple and engaging.
- The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Budget management experience that balances quality with smart spending.
- Strong vendor management skills that create longstanding partnerships and ensure industry-leading and award winning leadership development programmes.
- Flexibility working at pace and adapting when priorities shift.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in learning and development.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
