Job description
As Azure Tenant Migration Project Manager for our client, you will be responsible for the analysis, planning, and implementation of a complex Microsoft Azure tenant migration within an agile project environment. You will oversee the migration of digital workplaces and server applications, collaborate closely with architecture and project teams, and actively contribute to the overall project's success through crucial architecture, process, and migration decisions. This involves managing multiple stakeholders across various organizations and ensuring a secure, timely, and seamless implementation.
Your future tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the analysis, planning, and implementation of the Azure tenant migration
- Identification of all necessary migration steps, dependencies, risks and costs
- Rough analysis of the existing infrastructure, applications, and system dependencies
- Defining the target state together with the enterprise architecture
- Derivation of the required configurations and migration steps based on the current and target architecture
- Management and coordination of the migration of approximately 2,000 digital jobs at over 60 locations
- Close collaboration with the overall project management team for operational implementation
- Active stakeholder management across multiple organizations
Requirements
Do you have experience in Management?, * Completed training in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure, especially tenant migrations, including IAM, Active Directory and identity management.
- Experience as a project and/or product manager in infrastructure projects
- Experience in large-scale analysis, configuration and rollout of digital workplaces
- Experience in complex integration projects, ideally in the energy or utilities sector
- Knowledge of IT architecture and interface management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Languages:
- German: Native speaker or similar level
- English: Fluent (Min. C1)
