Job description
Stellar Global is now recruiting for experienced Data Analyst to work hybrid ( 2 days at our Head office, London Bridge area and 3 days from home). Overall purpose of the role: This role is central to understanding and improving store performance for our clients - analysing sales data, identifying trends, and uncovering insights that help optimise supported stores versus control groups and the wider estate. The right person will have a sharp analytical mind, a love for uncovering what drives performance, and the communication skills to turn data into compelling, actionable recommendations that fuel brand success., * Achieve KPI's and grow Stellar GP such as adopt a commercial focus across your accounts to exceed KPIs & company GP targets
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue & GP with existing and new clients
- Support client teams with projects, events and ad-hoc requests such as events and new initiatives
- Analyse and interpret sales and market data: collect, clean, and interpret store-level data from multiple sources - including POS systems, client reports, and retail activations
- Use data to reveal performance trends, patterns in shopper behaviour etc
- Measure & enhance the impact of retail experience programmes, turn complex data into clear commercial insights
- Create dynamic dashboards and visualisations using tools like Power BI, Google Looker Studios, Big Query or Excel/Google Sheets
- Build successful client relationships
- Work collaboratively, partner with Stellar and client teams to ensure insights are applied in live campaigns. Support storytelling with data, contributing to pitch materials, campaign evaluations, and business reviews

Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, * Proven experience as a Data Analyst (ideally within retail, FMCG, or agency environments)
- Knowledge of retail analytics, sales forecasting, or shopper behaviour modelling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, Google Looker Studios, Big Query or similar tools
- Ability to extract and interpret insights from large, complex datasets
- Experience comparing and evaluating control vs. test groups
- Strong commercial awareness - able to translate data into clear business recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail with a drive for continuous improvement
- A positive thinking, self-driven, results oriented individual
- Able to adapt to change in a calm and professional manner
- Organised and able to manage workload to achieve deadlines and client expectations
- Resourceful, and problem solving approach with collaborative mindset
- A passion for technology and innovation would be an advantage
Benefits & conditions
- Annual salary £50k-£55k DOE
- Perm contract - 37.5 hours, Mon-Fri, 9am-5.30pm
- Company bonus scheme & benefits
- Hybrid working - 2 days/week in the office (1 Newhams' Row, London, SE1 3UZ ) & 3 days at home
- Role will cover multiple brands in Curry's (2.5 days/week) and other Stellar clients (2.5 days/week)
