Job description
As part of this transformation, we are seeking an experienced Interim IT Project Manager to lead a portfolio of related system implementation and improvement projects across Finance, HR and other business areas over the next 9-12 months., * Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple IT projects, including:
- Implementation of a new HRIS and payroll system
- Delivery of a new finance system
- Improvements to patient data management systems
- Define project scope, milestones, budgets, delivery plans, risks and dependencies
- Manage data migration, system configuration, testing and go-live activities
- Design and implement data interfaces between finance and other systems (e.g. payroll, operations); detailed API coding is not required
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, healthcare data governance and other relevant regulations
- Manage vendors, system integrators and external suppliers
- Lead change management activity, including drafting user communications and supporting training and adoption
- Build strong working relationships quickly with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Provide regular reporting on progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders
- Be willing to work hands-on where required, including data cleansing
Requirements
Do you have experience in Sage?, This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, requiring a confident Project Manager who can work effectively across clinical, administrative, HR and finance teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and ensure systems are implemented smoothly, securely and in line with regulatory requirements. The role will require at least three days per week onsite at the main London location, preferably full time., * Deep experience as an IT Project Manager leading system implementations in a sub-£100m, multi-entity environment
- Proven experience delivering finance system implementations, ideally using Sage Intacct or other modern cloud-based mid-market ERP solutions
- Experience delivering non-finance system projects, including HR, payroll and operational systems
- Strong working knowledge of GDPR and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience designing and implementing system integrations and data interfaces
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work sensitively within busy teams managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrable experience leading change management and producing clear, professional user communications
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience within private healthcare, medical or other similarly regulated sectors
- Background in digital transformation, system integration or data migration programmes
- Relevant project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)
