Job description
You will be responsible for delivering remote and onsite support across a wide range of technologies, acting as both a first point of contact and an escalation point for more complex issues. A key part of the role will be supporting, configuring, and optimising Microsoft 365 environments and cloud-hosted phone systems. You will also assist with infrastructure troubleshooting, networking, and service improvement, working closely with our wider technical team.
The role is full-time with on-call in evenings and weekends via a rota.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide 1st and 2nd line support, managing, updating and resolving tickets in a timely manner.
· Act as an escalation point for complex support tickets.
· Configure, support, and deploy cloud phone/VoIP systems including training.
· Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Entra ID.
· Assist with security and compliance configuration (MFA, Conditional Access, Defender).
· Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
· Deliver excellent customer service remotely and onsite.
· Assist with migrations, onboarding, and infrastructure improvements.
· Produce clear technical notes and documentation.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in VoIP?, · Is confident in Microsoft 365 implementation, demonstration and administration experience.
· Has strong experience configuring and supporting cloud telephony/VoIP systems.
· Enjoys problem solving and taking ownership of issues.
· Communicates clearly and professionally with both customers and internal stakeholders.
· Is confident handling both 1st & 2nd line incidents.
· Understands core networking (DHCP, DNS, switching, VPNs)
· Full UK Drivers license.
