Senior AI Engineer - Technical Lead Location: Brussels (Remote working up to 50%) Language: English (Dutch and/or French advantageous)

Role Overview We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to act as the technical lead of a multidisciplinary team designing, delivering, and operationalising AI solutions that are simple, secure, standardised, and cost-effective.

You will translate business needs into scalable AI applications using Azure AI Services, Databricks, and the Power Platform, delivering measurable business value through reusable architectures and low-code solutions.

Key Responsibilities Lead the technical design and delivery of end-to-end AI solutions. Translate business use cases into optimal solution architectures, balancing performance, security, scalability, and cost. Analyse, design, develop, and implement solutions using Azure AI services. Coordinate technical implementation and provide technical coaching and guidance to team members. Define and maintain reference architectures, development standards, and best practices. Deploy and maintain infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and reusable modules. Ensure solutions are production-ready with CI/CD, test-driven development, and agile delivery practices. Collaborate with architects and subject matter experts to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Expertise in generative AI development and reusable building blocks. Experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, chunking and indexing, ranking and search techniques. Application Development

End-to-end development across front-end and back-end, including user interfaces and user experience. Strong experience with the Power Platform:

Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) Power Automate Embedded AI services Data & Engineering

Strong experience with Databricks, including Mosaic AI and data pipelines. Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and orchestration using Airflow. Infrastructure & DevOps
