Senior Software Engineer

Zynga is seeking an experienced engineer for our AdTech team. You will develop end-to-end solutions that generate hundreds of millions of ads revenue, collaborating with teams such as Words with Friends, CSR2, Zynga Poker, Harry Potter and more. No gaming experience is required for the right candidate. What You'll do

• Design, implement and maintain the full stack of the AdTech platform (Mobile SDKs, frontend portals and backend services)
• Enhance, optimise and integrate advertising and publishing functionality into mobile games worldwide
• Analyze and improve performance, scalability, reliability and measurability of system components
• Mentor junior engineers and drive a culture of technical excellence
• Work with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Drive improvements and new approaches to address systemic pain points and technical debt
• Maintain an understanding of end-to-end system interactions and architecture to assess implications of design decisions
• Collaborate with technical teams on new and emerging technologies, determining integration strategies
• Provide production and integration support to Zynga's game teams

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
• 4+ years of software development experience in Unity/C#/Java/Swift/Objective-C
• An obsession with ensuring client needs are always met
• Experience with mobile development in Objective-C, Android Java and/or Unity (a huge plus)
• Experience building high-performance, large-scale applications and reliable software
• Experience with complex distributed architecture and software design
• Experience with cloud environments such as Amazon AWS
• Strong software development qualities, including creative problem solving and sound technical judgment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment
• Understanding of the advertising technology landscape (plus)
• Key technical skills: Spring, .NET, C/C++, Go, React, OOP, C#, AWS, Data Structures, Distributed Systems, Java, Software Development
