Integration & Systems Validation Engineer

Join a leading defence engineering team and help bring together real products, models, and simulated environments to test and prove advanced weapon systems. You'll work in a state of the art digital battlespace facility, supporting both fast paced mini projects and larger, longer-term programmes.

As part of the Integration & Systems Validation (ISV) Team, you'll ensure systems are fit for purpose throughout the development lifecycle, helping software and subsystems perform flawlessly.

What You'll Do

• Plan Tests: Translate customer requirements into test plans, and help design test setups.
• Run Proving Activities: Conduct regular software testing, investigate defects, and integrate software with other engineering partners.
• Analyse & Report: Analyse test data, write reports, and support certification and software delivery.

• Systems Understanding: Able to see the big picture and understand different stakeholders' perspectives.
• Technical Skills: Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Python, IBM ALM/Doors, PLM, JIRA, Excel/macros.
• Proactive & Self-Managed: Take ownership of your work, improve ways of working, and develop your skills.
• Systems Proving Knowledge: Experience in software or functional testing, and verification & validation (V&V) is a plus.
• Project Delivery: Monitor milestones, identify risks, and support successful delivery.
