Job description

DevOps Engineer - SFIA 5 Experience level: Grade C2/3 or A6/7 Security clearance: SC Required Mandated Umbrella Engagement Hybrid as required (able to go to Croydon 2-3 days a week)

Must have:

Technologies The must have requirements centre around the base technology platforms that we build all our infrastructure):

  • AWS
  • Cloud Formation or Terraform
  • Nginx
  • Linux administration
  • Packer
  • Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Hashicorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault, etc)

Skills:

  • Working within an agile context with the use of CI
  • Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
  • Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
  • The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and the principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.
