MCS Group is exclusively representing a new tech entrant to the local market in NI. Having opened their first office just over 6 months ago, the business has grown from strength-to-strength and has a team of over 50 in the local market already. This high-growth, product-led technology company is looking for an IT Manager to take full ownership of its global IT estate in a cloud-first, Microsoft-native environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced tech scale up and is the perfect opportunity for an IT Manager with technical chops who can run a modern, secure IT operation while building and mentoring a small international team.

You'll report directly to one of the most impressive VPs in the industry along with having the support of a brilliant, wider local leadership team.
Proper flexibility - 1-2 days onsite at most, flexibility with working hours.
The chance to properly shape a support function in a high-growth tech company (c. 300 users today with c $200 million turnover)
What you'll own
- The IT Manager will own and support our client's global IT platform: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoints, networks and cloud infrastructure.
- You'll build and run a reliable, ITIL-aligned service desk with clear SLAs and great user experience
- You'll get involved with Security and compliance across Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and SOC 2
- Identity, access, devices, onboarding and offboarding at scale
- You'll support core business systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, Jira, GitLab, etc.)
- Disaster recovery, incident response and audit readiness
- You'll look after vendor management, licensing and IT budgets
You'll also work closely with engineering teams on AWS/Azure production environments, monitoring, change control and CI/CD support where needed.
Requirements
- Proven IT Manager experience in a Microsoft-centric, cloud environment
- Strong technical background across Azure/Entra, M365, Intune, Windows with working Linux/macOS knowledge
- Solid networking (VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi, DNS/DHCP)
- Comfortable owning security, audits and compliance
- A natural leader who can run and scale a global IT team
- Bonus points for Sentinel, automation, PowerShell or IaC
