Job description
As an Integration Engineer for HVAC Requirements Management, you will be key in driving the success of complex projects by defining and overseeing the system requirements for HVAC-R systems. In close cooperation with engineering, verification & validation (V&V), and test & integration (T&I) teams, you will be responsible for managing requirements using IBM Rational DOORS, acting as a crucial connection within the Systems Engineering V-model. This role focuses on the administration of technical processes and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring the smooth development of advanced naval vessels.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and document system requirements using IBM Rational DOORS, ensuring alignment with SMART criteria. Accurately populate HVAC-R system requirements in DOORS to facilitate engineering, V&V, and T&I activities. Process change requests and ensure that modifications are handled correctly within the V-model, maintaining up-to-date connections between teams. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless communication and implementation of requirements and changes. Analyze and manage data to assist with the requirements phase of projects. Oversee documentation and ensure that processes within the team are streamlined and efficient.
Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a related technical field. Expertise in requirements and change management in technical environments. Familiarity with IBM Rational DOORS or other similar tools for requirements management. Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous. Strong technical skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a detail-oriented approach, along with the ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process. Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required. Candidates holding an EU (work) visa or possessing both EU and non-EU nationality/passports are ineligible due to the requirements imposed by the nature of the projects.
