Support Operations Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical expertise, including experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and programming languages such as R and Python, alongside a solid understanding of business analysis and database design., * Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimisation using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and VBA.

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications aligned with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Design and optimise database structures in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Conduct business analysis to evaluate operational processes and recommend improvements based on data insights.
• Support project management activities by tracking progress, documenting processes using Visio, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
• Assist in database design, optimisation, and maintenance to enhance data integrity and system performance.
• Write scripts in Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks to streamline data processing workflows.

Do you have experience in Visio?, * Proven experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role with a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence.

• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, SQL (including SQL Server), R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Oracle databases, and database design principles.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
• Strong organisational skills with experience using Visio for process mapping or documentation.
• Familiarity with business analysis techniques and tools to support process optimisation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
