Senior IT Engineer

An established IT services provider is seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer with a strong networking background. This role plays a key part in delivering, supporting, and improving IT infrastructure across multiple client environments., * Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network solutions

• Lead network projects, upgrades, and new installations
• Provide advanced remote and on-site technical support
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise network performance
• Ensure security best practices, backups, and system monitoring are in place
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation
• Support, mentor, and guide junior engineers
• Work collaboratively with management and other technical teams

• 4-5 years' experience in a similar senior IT or networking role
• Strong expertise in Cisco networking, TCP/IP, firewalls, and IT security
• Windows Server (2016-2022), Hyper-V, Active Directory & Azure AD
• Microsoft technologies including Azure, Office 365, and Intune
• Experience supporting Windows and Apple devices
• Backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
