Job description

For the Manufacturing Technology R&D department, we are looking for a Technology Liaison and Material Innovation Specialist (x|f|m) for Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you will shape the future of manufacturing at Sartorius. You will be responsible for development activities and projects in the areas of materials science, additive manufacturing (AM) and manufacturing technology in our R&D department. As part of an international team, you will build a network for material topics and be available as a contact person for the corporate headquarters.

  • You will identify, evaluate and validate new manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing in line with technology and product roadmaps
  • You pilot, qualify and implement new technologies and processes to drive improvements
  • You will build a broad network of internal and external partners and work closely with other departments
  • Analyze and expand manufacturing capabilities to enable sustainable growth
  • They take performance requirements into account and thereby optimize product development
  • As the central contact person at the Group headquarters, you will be responsible for setting up an internal network for material topics as well as a digital gateway (SharePoint) for knowledge exchange
  • They document data and patentable ideas to support the company's IP strategy, * Personal and Professional Development: Mentoring, leadership programs, Talent Talks, internal seminar offerings, coaching for managers

Requirements

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, * A degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification will be required

  • Familiarity with single-use technologies and the biopharmaceutical industry will set you up for success
  • With several years in manufacturing technology or product development, you will bring solid knowledge of operational requirements
  • Backed by broad expertise and proven experience in materials science, you will contribute at depth
  • When faced with complexity, you will analyze and resolve technical problems with confidence
  • Through structured, accurate practices, you will maintain high-quality documentation
  • Comfortable operating in both German- and English-speaking environments, you will navigate international collaboration with ease
  • As a team-oriented communicator, you will add strong interpersonal and communication skills to the group
