Cyber Security Analist

The Cyber Security Analyst strengthens Robeco's cyber resilience with a strong focus on external cyber threats. In this senior role, you think and act as an outsider and provide relevant, actionable insights into cyber threats and developments to security experts and (senior) management., * Performing cyber threat analysis and risk assessments.

• Managing, improving, and monitoring Robeco's Threat Intelligence capabilities.
• Writing intelligence reports for (senior) management.
• Sharing knowledge with external threat analysts and security communities.
• Translating cyber threats into business risks relevant to Robeco.
• Coordinating root-cause analyses of severe security incidents.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of attack methods and operating models.
• Anticipating market and industry security developments.
• Selecting, directing, and managing Managed Security Services (MSS).
• Sharing knowledge within Robeco's international Cyber Security Circle.
• Driving continuous improvement of cyber security processes.

Do you have experience in Security?, * Higher technical professional or university-level education.

• At least 10 years of experience in information security analytics and intelligence, preferably within the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of current cyber security threats and developments.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and big data environments.
• Experience working in multi-sourced IT environments.
• Proven experience in security risk reporting to (senior) management.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Ability to influence management, professionals, and suppliers, and to maintain effective relationships within the security community.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Pragmatic, critical, and creative mindset.
• Flexible attitude with no strict nine-to-five mentality.

Preferred technical skills:

• KQL (Kusto Query Language)
• PowerShell
• Python
• Azure and Azure Sentinel

Specific knowledge & certifications

• Familiarity with cyber intelligence gathering and analysis, including OSINT and HUMINT.
• Relevant professional security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISA, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Security Stack, including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Azure (required).
