Job description

We are seeking an experienced Test Director to lead testing strategy and delivery for a large-scale, multi-year finance and data transformation programme. The role will oversee complex testing activities across multiple releases involving policy, claims, finance, actuarial, data platforms, and regulatory reporting systems., The role supports a large-scale transformation involving migration from legacy finance platforms to Oracle-based financial systems. The programme spans multiple releases and includes the following key components:

  • Enterprise Data Store Platform
  • Finance and Actuarial Transformation
  • Rating Engine and Regulatory Reporting
  • Oracle Financials Integration
  • End-to-End Data and Reporting Platforms, * Define, develop, and lead the overall test strategy, planning, and execution across multiple programme releases.
  • Oversee system integration testing, data validation, UAT, regression testing, and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) across policy, claims, and financial systems.
  • Lead and govern end-to-end testing across policy systems, data warehouses, and Oracle financial platforms, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive and continuously improve test automation strategies, focusing on enterprise-scale automation across complex system integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Actuarial, Data Governance, and IT teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business outcomes and regulatory standards.
  • Engage effectively with senior stakeholders across IFRS, actuarial, regulatory, and statutory reporting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements, including performance, financial controls, auditability, and service assurance.
  • Support go-live readiness, including cutover planning, risk assessment, and post-implementation validation.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to test managers and test teams across the programme.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test automation?, The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in insurance and financial systems, strong leadership in programme-level test management, and a proven passion for driving end-to-end test automation strategies across enterprise landscapes., * Extensive experience leading programme-level test management within large-scale finance, actuarial, or regulatory transformation initiatives.

  • Strong domain knowledge of insurance systems, including policy administration, claims, billing, finance, and reporting platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials, enterprise data warehouses, and complex system integrations.
  • Proven experience testing Solvency II, IFRS, and regulatory reporting solutions.
  • Experience working with rating engines and upstream/downstream data integrations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in defining and delivering enterprise-wide test automation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, ETL pipelines, and enterprise reporting architectures.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across both business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, change management, and release planning in regulated environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience delivering major transformation programmes within the insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of finance and actuarial data flows from source systems through to regulatory and statutory reporting.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, multi-vendor, multi-release programme environments.
