In this role, you'll focus on technical ownership with a strong hands-on and execution-driven mindset. You'll play a key role delivering robust solutions across backend, firmware, and mobile shaping our software architecture. Depending on your experience and interests, a future leadership role is possible.

What we're looking for

• Solid, hands-on experience with cloud technologies, ideally Azure, that lets you enhance and extend our existing platform.

• Proven embedded-firmware skills, including seamless communication with cloud services.

• Bonus: familiarity with mobile development to grasp the end-to-end Tapkey Protocol workflow.

• Security principles and their practical application
• In addition, you ideally bring expertise in some of the following areas, which are not mandatory but considered valuable:
• Cryptography and data protection concepts
• Automated testing methodologies to ensure quality and stability

Soft Skills and Personal Qualities

• You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in designing and building scalable SaaS applications.
• You are a proactive problem solver who tackles challenges hands-on and doesn't wait for others to step in.
• You are a strong team player who thrives on collaboration and contributes actively to joint success.
• You demonstrate a clear eagerness for continuous learning, staying adaptable in a fast-changing technical environment.
• You are confident and constructive in defending your own and your team's technical perspectives, even in complex discussions.
• You are fluent in English and communicate clearly in technical and collaborative contexts.
• Good German listening skills are required to ensure smooth team communication - fluency is not necessary, but understanding spoken German is a must.

The minimum gross salary based on the IT collective agreement (LT, standard level) is € 5.900 per month (14 times/year). Depending on qualifications and experience, we are happy to offer an overpayment.
