Job description

The mission of the Digital Business Analyst is to drive the development and optimization of BNP Paribas Fortis' digital channels for Corporate Banking customers and users, by aligning business objectives with digital strategies. This involves analyzing business needs, identifying digital solutions, ensuring that the delivery remains in line with the business goals and overall enhancing the user experience with their Banking channels., * Takes care of requirements gathering & analysis: ensure a deep and thorough understanding of the business needs and pain points to resolve;

  • Is in charge of the stakeholder engagement linked to the projects within her / his scope and ensures alignment around the progress, timelines and objectives to be reached;
  • Searches for the most effective and achievable solutions to the business needs under investigation, and provides support and expertise in the delivery phase of the digital solutions;
  • Supports the testing phase with business requirement clarification, creates presentation materials for change management purposes and leads the closure of incidents in collaboration with Functional Analysts and developers;
  • Works closely with the Channel Manager, Marketing/ Product management and with the Process team in order to align digital solutions to the overall strategy and objectives for the Banking Channels;
  • Takes the lead in specific studies related to the scope under responsibility, including preparation of documentation for Management Teams, Initiative Boards and Product Boards, preparation of mock ups, concept designs and definition of MVP (minimum viable product)
  • In project mode, collects, analyses and translates business requirements into detailed business specifications for IT, taking into account a user centric, collaborative and agile way of working.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UX?, Do you have a Master's degree?, In this case, we're looking specifically for an experienced professional to reinforce the Accounts, Reporting & Transactions team. Several years of experience in the financial services sector and familiarity with regulation driven roadmaps is a plus. Thriving in a context with lots of touchpoints and alignments is key. The perfect candidate also has a strong data-driven mindset., English proficiency is a must, complemented by excellent knowledge of at least Dutch or French and decent working proficiency of the other., Master's degree, 5 years of relevant work experience, * Requirements gathering & analysis, incl. documentation, OKR definition, Customer Journey Mapping and User Story slicing

  • BPMN
  • Data analysis using Excel, Business Objects or other market leading tools
  • Stakeholder Engagement, incl. stakeholder mapping, active listening, communication skills (written & presentation)
  • Project management skills, incl. agile methodologies
  • Problem solving & critical thinking, eg. ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis, root cause analysis, SWOT analysis, etc.
  • Experience working on digital transformation projects in a consulting/client facing environment
  • Use of collaborative tools, such as digital whiteboards and Sharepoint.
  • Understanding of delivery frameworks and methodologies (Prince 2/PMP/, Agile - Scrum)

Business experience:

Mandatory

  • Ability to run productive meetings, work collaboratively & facilitate workshops
  • Extensive experience working on digital transformation projects in a consulting/client facing environment
  • Experience managing digital projects, including planning, execution, monitoring and closing projects to ensure they meet business objectives and deadlines.

Preferable

  • Experience with Concept Design, UX testing and innovation is a plus
  • Proficiency in using data insights for making informed business decisions and optimizing digital channels
