Job description
As a Network Engineer, you will make an impact by managing and troubleshooting enterprise network environments, ensuring robust, secure, and high-performing infrastructure across Cisco LAN, Meraki WLAN, WAN (Cisco Viptela SD-WAN), and Citrix load balancers. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver operational excellence and continual improvement., * Manage and troubleshoot Citrix load balancers and WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela SD-WAN).
- Provide technical expertise on Cisco routing and switching concepts.
- Work with Zenoss and Solarwinds (NCM, NPA, NTA, IPAM modules).
- Interact and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Perform capacity planning and reporting.
- Represent the Network team in internal meetings.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, rack layouts, topologies, processes, and procedures.
- Design, deploy, configure, and administer LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure and supporting systems.
- Recommend upgrades, patches, and equipment to address security vulnerabilities.
- Proactively monitor network devices and links to ensure high availability and SLA compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Analyze current network structure and propose efficiency improvements.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Research and recommend technologies to support business requirements.
- Provide on-call and weekend support when necessary.
- Follow ITIL principles and participate in team meetings.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WAN?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Strong expertise in Cisco LAN, Meraki WLAN, Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, and Citrix load balancers.
- Proficiency in routing and switching concepts, network monitoring tools (Zenoss, Solarwinds).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
- Good communication, email, and presentation skills.
- Technical knowledge of Azure networking (added advantage)., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, ITIL.
- Experience in regulated environments and compliance-driven industries.
