- Own IT budgets, forecasting, and procurement with a focus on value and scalability.
- Partner with Security, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between internal systems and core infrastructure.
- Define and maintain IT policies, standards, and documentation in line with regulatory and best-practice requirements.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding to ensure smooth access, equipment, and permissions from day one.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve productivity, security, and resilience.
- Report to senior leadership on performance, risk, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements

- Background in regulated or complex environments (for example legal, financial services, or infrastructure).
- Strong experience across Windows-based environments, both on-prem and cloud (Azure), including hybrid Active Directory.
- Experience managing mixed Windows and macOS estates.
- Solid understanding of cyber security principles and compliance.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale IT teams.
- Confident project manager with end-to-end delivery experience.
- Clear communicator who works effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (Azure Stack HCI ideal).
- Comfort working across enterprise Linux environments.
- Experience supporting office AV and conferencing solutions.
- Exposure to physical security systems such as access control or CCTV.
- Experience in high-growth or scaling organisations.
Benefits & conditions
- Employee share plan with the opportunity to become a shareholder.
- Company pension and bonus scheme.
- 25 days' annual leave, increasing with service (excluding bank holidays).
- Private healthcare and wellbeing support.
- Mental health support platform access.
- Cycle-to-work scheme and subsidised gym membership.
- Free eye tests and travel loan.
- Financial wellbeing tools to help manage pay and budgeting.
