Job description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of applications specialists, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Actively participate in the development, implementation, and support of business applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and Enterprise.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, recommend solutions, and implement application enhancements.
  • Manage and prioritise team workloads, projects, and support requests to meet deadlines and maintain service levels.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including processes, configurations, and training materials and Oversee application integrations, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Analyse and resolve complex application issues, providing timely and effective solutions and guide the team in applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science-based field
  • Prior experience in business applications development, implementation, or support and Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting application issues.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a small to mid-sized team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, collaborating, and developing cross functional teams on complex technical project, You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government security clearance in line with the job role (SC).
