Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate.

This post provides support to managers and operation colleagues within the Education, Quality and Performance (School Improvement ) and the office base is at Union Street, Chorley. Please be aware we are presently working a combination of office and home working to deliver support to managers and operational staff in line with Service delivery needs.

What we are looking for:

Passion - You'll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it's what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you've developed elsewhere.

Knowledge and Experience - Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.

Great Communication - You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.
