Senior IT Field Engineer

A well-established Managed Service Provider with a strong reputation for technical excellence is now looking to bring on a Senior IT Field Engineer to support their growing client base. This is a hybrid role based out of their Tadley-area office, with regular travel to client sites (within a 50-mile radius). A full UK driving licence is essential.

You'll be joining a close-knit team of 8 engineers, working on a mix of support escalations, project delivery, and client-facing technical consultancy. • Providing onsite and remote technical support to clients
• Acting as a technical escalation point for the wider team
• Supporting pre-sales conversations and technical documentation
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development

• 5+ years' experience in a customer-facing technical support role within an MSP
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint), Intune, and Autopilot
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and IT Security
• Virtualisation experience with VMware ESXi and/or Hyper-V
• Networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, MFA, enterprise wireless
• Familiarity with backup systems, enterprise firewalls, and email security platforms
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical conversations with clients
• Bonus points for experience with Sophos, Egnyte, and Ubiquiti
