Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact technology team, supporting the delivery, automation, and operation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms within an enterprise environment.
This role will focus on Azure cloud engineering, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps best practices, working closely with development, operations, and platform teams to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and ARM templates
- Manage source control, branching, and release strategies using Git and Azure DevOps
- Implement secure secrets and credential management using Azure Key Vault
- Monitor system health and performance, configuring alerts for critical workloads
- Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices across the SDLC
- Implement automated security and compliance checks within pipelines
- Optimise Azure cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost
- Troubleshoot CI/CD failures and deployment issues, performing root cause analysis
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Strong Scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell
- Good understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, Subnets, NSGs)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (eg Azure Monitor)
- Strong Git and version control experience
