IT Infrastructure & Operations Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Support Engineer to provide comprehensive onsite and operational IT support across logistics, warehouse, office, and retail environments in Switzerland. The scope of work may be expanded or adjusted in coordination with the local IT team over time.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-User & Onsite Support (IMACD)

• Provide IMACD support for printers (primarily Ricoh and Lexmark, including IPDS)
• Support laptops (ThinkPads) and onsite out-of-scope devices, mainly within logistics and warehouse environments
• Support screens used for logistics operations, including employee information and real-time goods movement (just-in-time)
• Deliver classic onsite IT support in the Electrolux environment, aligned with the Zurich FSO requirements catalog

Network & Infrastructure Support

• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure in coordination with the central infrastructure team
• Support access points, with a focus on logistics warehouse areas in Mägenwil and access points across all locations
• Support all IT building cabling in Mägenwil, including wired, wireless, and warehouse-specific solutions

Server, Cloud & Systems Support

• Provide support in the Microsoft Azure environment, including ongoing cloudification of applications
• Support VMware environments, including on-premises servers
• Ensure data backups for all on-premises servers and services
• Perform operational activities, support, and reviews for the AS/400 (OS/400) environment, which serves as an interface between SAP and local applications

Do you have experience in Warehouse experience?, * German language skills at B2 level or higher

• Proven experience in onsite IT support and infrastructure operations
• Experience with logistics or warehouse IT environments is an advantage
• Must be eligible to work in Switzerland, * Azure cloud environments or VMware on-prem environments?: 2 years (Required)
